Gourmet Rice Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped celery leaves
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 c. uncooked rice
    2 to 3 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Saute onion, celery, celery leaves, mushrooms and rice in butter until vegetables are tender and rice is golden.
    Turn into a greased shallow 2-quart casserole.
    Stir in broth, salt and almonds.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
    Fluff with fork.
    Serves 6 to 8.
