Wash cubed pork with the juice of a lime.

Fry fat and drain on paper towel.
Pour off most of the oil. Brown cubed pork, which has been coated with dry seasonings.
Sprinkle any leftover seasoning on chopped onions. When pork is well browned, remove and place in a large stockpot. Add cabbage which has been cubed. Saute onions in grease that pork was browned in.
Stir constantly. When done, add to cabbage and pork.
Cover and cook until cabbage is tender. Add fried fat to your black-eyed peas.

In a large skillet, melt butter over moderate heat.
Add eggs and stir with a fork until well cooked.
