Mix cabbage, onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, carrots, and olives together in a large bowl.
Whisk vinegar, oil, sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, celery seed, and mustard seed together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until sugar is dissolved, about 1 minute. Pour hot dressing over cabbage mixture and toss gently. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.

Add sugar, vinegar, water, oil, salt, garlic.
Combine all ingredients except cole slaw mix in a large bowl and combine well.
Add the cole slaw mix and toss to coat.
Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight to allow flavors to blend.
In a large bowl, layer the cabbage, pepper and onion rings.
Sprinkle 3/4 cup sugar over mixture.
In a saucepan combine 1 tablespoon sugar and remaining ingredients. Mix well and heat to boiling.
Pour hot mixture over the slaw.
Cover with foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours.
Toss before serving.
Grate cabbage and onion together.
Add 1 cup sugar.
Boil 1/3 cup sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt, celery seed and oil together. Pour this mixture over cabbage while hot.
Let set at least 4 hours before serving.
Keeps for several days.
Mix altogether and pour over medium head of grated cabbage with a 1/2 of small onion.
Some may like more sugar and vinegar. This recipe can also be frozen.
In food processor or with grater,chop the onion so fine it is almost liquefied.
Mix in other ingredients with the ground up onion and using a food processor emulsify the dressing. Dressing, can, however, simply be mixed using a wire whisk in the traditional way.
Add to your favorite cole slaw recipe.
Cut cabbage, remove core with a sharp knife, slice each section into match size strips (about 2 to 4-inches).
Put into large bowl and knead about 5 minutes, until wilted.
Cut onion (a bit larger than a golf ball) finely.
Add to cabbage.
Mix with wooden spoon.
Add mayonnaise by heaping spoonfuls (approximately 4 ounces, or to your taste).
Add white vinegar, sugar and oil. Toss with wooden spoon until well combined.
Add salt to taste. Keep at room temperature for at least an hour.
Refrigerate coleslaw overnight.
Whisk together orange juice,vinegar,oil,salt,cumin,and pepper in a small bowl to make dressing.
In a large bowl combine carrots,raisens,scallions,and parsley.Add dressing, toss well. let sit at room temperature tossing occasionally for at least 30 minutes befor serving.

Mixture will be very thin.

Pour sauce over the bean mixture.

Makes a ton but will keep for up to 10 days as the vinegar acts as a preservative.

Cook in top of double boiler until thickened, stirring constantly.
Line pie with pastry and bake in moderate oven 3 minutes.
