Set your crock pot to low or simmer setting
Cut up potatoes and carrots to desired size and place in bottom of crock pot. Cover with onion soup mix and cream of mushroom soup, and stir it together until everything is nicely coated. Place your roast on top and flip it over to coat both sides with a some of the sauce. Cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 4-5 hours. If you have more time cook it on low for the best results.
You can also brown the sides of the roast in a frying pan with a little butter before adding it to the crock pot to help keep the juices inches But this is optional.
Place all ingredients in crock pot. Add water until everything is submerged. Cook on low 8 hours.
To serve: remove meat to platter, remove vegetables with a slotted spoon to a large bowl.
For Gravy: keeping crockpot on low, add gravymaster (approx. 1 tbsp) pepper to taste, and flour to liquid in pot. Mix with wire wisk, adding flour and pepper until desired consistency is reached. Strain through a fine mesh colander into gravy bowl, and serve over meal.

Pour over roast and cook on high about 6 to 8 hours (depending on size of roast).

In the same skillet saute' carrots, onion and garlic for three minutes.
Put veggies in crock pot and place roast on top.
Combine remaining ingredients (except noodles) and pour over roast.
Cook on low 10- 12 hours or high for 5- 6 hours.
Shred beef and return to gravy.
Serve over hot buttered noodles.

Add roast to crockpot.
Place dry onion soup mix over top.
Empty the two cans of soup in crock pot.
Cover and place setting on low.
Let simmer for 8 hours.
Place meat in bag.
Stir together all ingredients except last 4.
Pour over meat and refrigerate overnight, turning a couple of times.

Measure out 2 cups cooking liquid; pour into saucepan.
Add the water and flour mixture to cooking liquid and thicken for gravy.
Coat pot roast with a little vegetable oil. Rub in salt, pepper and herbs. Put pot roast in bottom of crock-pot and place vegetables around it. Add the beef broth and cover the pot. Cook for 8 to 10 hours on
low.
Put roast in the crock pot.
Add all the ingredients.
Use just enough water to cover vegetables and roast. Stir and cover.
Cook for 6 hours on low. Return and enjoy.

Rub meat with horseradish and place in crock pot.
Add other ingredients, except sour cream.
Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or on low for 9-10 hours or until the meat and vegetables are tender.
If you are available, turn meat over, midway during cooking.
Take meat out of crock pot, allow to rest about 10-15 minutes before slicing.
In the meantime, whisk the sour cream with 1 cup of the juices from the pot, and serve as a sauce for the sliced meat.

Mix all of the chopped vegetables with the soups and place into the crock pot.
Put the roast on top and sprinkle with pepper.
Put on low all day and enjoy with a crusty loaf of bread.
I have put everything together the night before and just set this as I was leaving for work.
Place crock pot liner inside, if using one.
Add water and 3/4 of the vegetables.
Add all but 1T onion soup mix, sprinkled over vegetables.
Stir to mix/coat well.
Put salt, pepper and thyme on roast like a rub.
Place roast ON TOP OF the vegetables.
Add remaining vegetables around sides of roast.
Sprinkle with remaining soup mix.
Cook on LOW 8-9 hours or HIGH 5-6 hours.

Trim fat from meat. Spray large skillet with cooking spray. Add meat and brown meat on all sides. Place potatoes, mushrooms, carrots and basil in a 3 1/2 to 4-quart crock-pot. Place browned meat on top of vegetables. Sprinkle with salt. Pour condensed soup over meat. Cover and cook on low setting for 10 to 12 hours. Transfer meat and vegetables to serving platter. Serve the sauce over meat and vegetables. Yield: about 5 servings.
