Rub salt and oleo into turkey inside and out.
Cut celery, onion and apple into medium pieces and stuff into turkey cavity. Place turkey into pan with hot water.
Cover pan tightly and place in a preheated 450\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Important:
Do not open oven, leave overnight.
Place the hock in a pot with cold water to cover.
Add the red pepper flakes; put on the lid.
Bring to a boil; reduce the heat and simmer until tender, 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Add more water if necessary.
When the hock is done, add the greens and remaining ingredients to the pot.
Lower the heat and simmer until tender, which is usually about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Stir occasionally during this time.
Season to taste and serve with extra vinegar and hot sauce on the side and a little chopped onions.
In 2-quart baking dish (11 x 7-inch), spread 1 cup sauce. Top with 3 dry noodles, Ricotta cheese, 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and 1 cup sauce. Top with remaining dry noodles and sauce; cover. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour. Top with remaining Mozzarella cheese. Let stand 5 minutes. Serves 6.
Mix cottage cheese and eggs together. Cook chicken breast with garlic, mushrooms, and a little olive oil. Cook noodles until they are almost done. Layer ingredients as follows, 1/4 jar sauce enough to cover pan bottom, noodles, rest of jar of sauce, 1/2 of chicken, 1/2 of cottage cheese and egg mixture,1/2 of all cheeses, 1/2 can parmesan cheese, layer of noodles. Repeat layers as above. Cook for 1 hour at 425 degrees.
Cut tomatoes into 1/4-inch thick slices. Arrange half of slices in a large shallow serving dish; sprinkle with half each of sugar, salt and pepper. Top with remaining tomato slices; sprinkle with remaining sugar, salt and pepper. Drizzle vinegar evenly over tomatoes. Cover and chill 1 hour. Turn tomato slices, coating with vinegar mixture, before serving.
Peel apples and chop.
Set aside.
Cream sugar and oil.
Add eggs and beat well.
Gradually add sifted dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
Gently add apples.
Flour nuts lightly and add to cake mixture.
Grease 10-inch tube pan and line bottom with wax paper.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
Glaze while warm.
Mix all the ingredients except Cheez Whiz. Put in casserole dish and top with Cheez Whiz. Bake at 350\u00b0 approximately 1 hour.
Mix flour with baking powder, soda, sugar and salt.
Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
Soften yeast cake in warm water and add buttermilk to this, then stir yeast and buttermilk to dry ingredients to form a soft dough.
Turn onto floured board and knead for a minute before rolling.
Cut 1/4-inch thick.
Put on well-greased baking sheet and let stand 1 hour and then bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes.
Dissolve yeast in water.
Add milk, shortening and salt.
Sift flour and soda together.
Stir in yeast mix.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Roll out and cut.
Let rise until double (1 hour).
Bake at 375\u00b0
for 10 to 12 minutes.
Scald milk and salt, oil and sugar.
Let cool.
Pour over yeast.
Add flour and mix well.
Knead a few times and roll out on flour surface.
Cut out rolls, brush tops with butter.
Let rise 1 hour or longer.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.

Meatloaf: Combine meat loaf ingredients and place into meatloaf pan or regular loaf pan. I usually have a little left over because the pan I use is a small one. The excess I freeze for future use as stuffed pepper filling (there's usually enough for 2 peppers).
Smooth out top.
Sauce: Combine sauce ingredients and pour on top and sides of meatloaf.
Bake at 350\u00b0F about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes or until done.

Please, refrigerate dough for at least 1 hour or 24 hrs {this freezes very well} before using for the best result.
Bake at 400 Degrees in a preheated oven for 10 minutes then reduce oven temperature to 350 until pastry is golden brown!
