Cook yams; mash and add a dash of salt.
Spread in layers in casserole: mashed yams, marshmallows, chopped nuts, dot of butter and a small amount of brown sugar.
Cover top sparingly with brown sugar; place walnut halves on top.

Cut butter into squares; place on the yams.

When yams are almost finished, pour marshmallows over them and bake for 10 minutes, or until the marshmallows melt.

In a shallow baking dish mash one can of yams and leave the other can of yams in pieces (This is more of a personal preferance, you can leave both cans in pieces if you wish).
Pour orange juice over the yams.

Bake 30 minutes or until marshmallows have melted.
Be sure to watch the yams the last 5 minutes because the marshmellows can burn.
Boil yams with skin on.
Let yams cook until tender and skin starts to peel off.
Cool yams off slightly and peel off skin. Cream butter, eggs and sugar together.
Add milk, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Pour into baking dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes until slightly firm.
Add marshmallows on top and put in broil to roast marshmallows.
(Takes less than a minute.)
Grease oblong pan with vegetable oil.
Pour yams evenly in pan followed by apple slices and nuts, then sprinkle brown sugar over apples, yams and nuts.
Place pats of butter over brown sugar. Bake at 350\u00b0 until apples are tender and brown sugar bubbles. When baked, cover apples, yams and nuts with marshmallows.

Open and drain the can of yams.
Put yams in a casserole dish. Open can of crushed pineapple and add to the yams with the juice. Mash the yams and pineapple a couple of times.
Place approximately 12 large marshmallows on top of the yams.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.

Combine syrup, butter, raisins, cinnamon and marshmallows.
Heat over medium stirring till marshmallows melt.

Top with some extra mini marshmallows and bake additional 10 minutes til browned.
Drain yams and pineapple (save the pineapple juice).
In a pot, add pineapple juice, sugar, and '10' marshmallows.
Put yams in a 9x13-inch casserole dish and pour mixture over top.
Top with pineapple chunks.
Put into a 300\u00b0F oven for 40 minutes.
Top with remaining marshmallows (or amount you prefer).
Put casserole back into oven for 10 minutes to soften and slightly melt marshmallows.
Watch closely because marshmallows puff up quickly and may burn.
Boil yams until tender.
Peel and slice yams.
Melt 1 stick butter in skillet.
Pour enough brown sugar in skillet to absorb butter and cook for a couple of minutes.
Add 1 tablespoon vanilla into mixture.
Add sliced yams and fry on both sides until coated with mixture.
Put in baking dish and bake for about 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
If desired, marshmallows may be added to heated yams.
Put layer of marshmallows on top and place in broiler for about 2 minutes, until slightly browned.
