Add all at once to dry ingredients and stir just to moisten.
Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
Sprinkle with wheat germ topping.
Press in lightly.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
Makes 12 muffins.

Wheat Germ Balls

Combine all ingredients except the 3/4 cup wheat germ in a bowl.
With an electric mixer, beat on low speed until well mixed.
Chill dough until easy to handle. Form into 1 inch balls.
Roll dough balls in 3/4 cup wheat germ. Place on cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated oven at 350 Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease baking sheet.

In a large mixer bowl, measure 1 cup unbleached flour and stir in dry milk, wheat germ, salt, yeast and hot water.
Add vegetable oil, honey and 2 cups whole wheat flour.

Add 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1/2 to 1 cup unbleached flour, 1/2 cup at a time, first with a spoon and then by hand.

Banana Berry Wheat Germ Muffins

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F Spray jumbo muffin tins with nonstick coating.
Combine flour, wheat germ, Splenda, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in medium bowl.
Whisk together banana, milk, yogurt, oil, and egg whites in large bowl.
Add dry to wet and stir until just combined (add more milk if needed - the batter should be thick). Gently stir in berries.
Spoon batter into muffin tins, being careful not to overfill. Top each muffin with a small amount of jam.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Whole Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes (With Wheat Germ)

Whisk together the dry ingredients in a large bowl (whole wheat flour, wheat germ, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg) until well blended.
In a bowl, gently mix the wet ingredients (eggs, oil and buttermilk).
Slowly add dry to wet and mix until blended.
Heat stove top griddle or frying pan on medium-high heat.
Pour about 1/4 cup batter for each cake onto the griddle.
Cook until bubbles appear, and begin to gently break, then flip pancakes.
Cook another minute or so on the other side.
Serve with butter and maple syrup.

Combine the wheat germ, corn, onions,parsley, carrot and celery.
Combine the oil, lemon juice, herbs and Mrs Dash or Vegit and combine with wheat germ corn mix.
Line a salad bowl with crisp salad greens and fill the center with the salad mix.
Wash a fresh cucumber and slice it very thin. Do not peel the cucumber unless it has been waxed to preserve it. Place the slices decoratively over the corn mix.

Bottom layer: Mix together wheat germ, flour, brown sugar, melted butter.
Spread mixture evenly into bottom of greased and floured 9\"x9\" baking pan.
Set aside.
Top layer:Melt butter and chocolate over very low heat.
Remove from heat, beat together with sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients and mix.
Spread over bottom layer.
Bake at 350 degrees 25-30 minutes.
Cool, slice into squares.

In large mixer bowl combine 1 1/2 cups flour, yeast, wheat germ and salt, mix well.
Add water, molasses, shortening and egg. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
By hand gradually stir in remaining flour to make a stiff batter.
Cover.
Let rise in warm place until light, about 45 minutes.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes until deep brown.
Remove from pan, cool.
