Crunchy Wheat Germ Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. wheat germ
    1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. chopped chives
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    1 beaten egg
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 c. wheat germ
    1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Combine 3/4 cup wheat germ, flour, chives and salt.
    Cut in butter until coarse like meal.
    Add egg and 1 tablespoon milk; mix well.
    Pinch off dough and shape into 3 1/2-inch long sticks. Brush with 1 tablespoon milk and roll in 1/4 cup wheat germ.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes or until light golden brown.
    Serves 12.
