Mash sweet potatoes/yams with 1/4 cup butter or margarine and 1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk.
Mash until all lumps are gone and mixture is very smooth.
Spread into 9 x 13-inch dish. Combine brown sugar, 1/2 cup butter and remaining milk in a saucepan over low heat.
Heat and stir until mixture is smooth and creamy.
Pour over potatoes.
Sprinkle top with chopped pecans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Peel and cut sweet potatoes or yams in half, and parboil 10 minutes.
Drain and place in buttered baking dish.
Dot the potatoes with butter, and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Add water.
Bake 30 minutes or until tender in a 350\u00b0 oven.
Check and baste with own juice often.

Spray the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray.
Place sweet potatoes in a slow cooker and arrange butter on top of sweet potatoes. Sprinkle brown sugar over sweet potatoes.
Cook on High, 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Add marshmallows and cook until soft and somewhat puffy, about 15 minutes.
Pour all but 1/4 cup of juice from potatoes and put into casserole dish.
Combine orange juice and corn syrup and blend well.
Dot with butter or oleo, then pour fluids over sweet potatoes.

Cut each sweet potato into bite
Boil sweet potatoes until fork tender. Allow to cool. Peel the sweet potatoes and slice into 1\" slices.
In a bowl, stir together karo syrup, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.
Arrange sweet potato slices in 11\"x14\" casserole dish.
Pour mixture over potatoes.
Slice margarine into slices and arrange on the top.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove and mix the slices around. Put back in oven for 10-20 minute Serve hot.
Layer sweet potatoes and apricots in casserole dish.
Sprinkle with pecan halves.
In a saucepan, combine remaining ingredients, including the apricot juice, bring to a boil, and continue to cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour sauce over casserole and bake at 375 degrees F. for 25 minutes.

Prick sweet potatoes with a fork and place
Peel sweet potatoes or yams. Cut into thick slices.
Rinse in cold water.
Cover sweet potatoes or yams with water (use small amount of water as potatoes already have water in them). Bring to a boil (30 minutes). Add all the ingredients except for the marshmallows and butter.
When potatoes are done, sprinkle with marshmallows and butter and heat until marshmallows and butter are melted slightly.
Roast Yams/Sweet potatoes @ 375 for 45 minute.
Peel Bananas and quarter.
Roast Bananas in greased pan @ 375 10 minute.
Scoop out Yams from skins.

whip Yam/Potato mixture until creamy.
Grate Zest of lime over top of mixture.

Split in half lengthwise.

Lower stove to medium and cook until soft.
Can be made ahead and reheated.

Recipe can be doubled or halved.
1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Drain Yams, reserving syrup.
3. Place yams side by side into a 8\" x 8\" baking dish.
4. Mix the marmalade with the reserved syrup.
5. Boil the mixture, stirring constantly, until it is the consistency of corn syrup.
6. Pour over the sweet potatoes.
7. Dot butter over top.
8. Sprinkle the top with coconut.
9. Bake 10 minutes covered with foil . remove foil and bake 5-10 minutes longer or until the coconut is golden.
Peel and quarter the yams or sweet potatoes.
Place all of the ingredients into a large pot and cook the potatoes on top of the stove over medium heat and stirring every so often until potatoes are soft.
Also, don't be afraid of adding more brown sugar and/or orange juice if needed. The ingredients need to cover the potatoes.
Scrub sweet potatoes/yams and cook until tender. (I microwave mine on high for about 10 minutes, or until a fork goes in easily.) Let sit until cool enough to handle. Peel and cut into small chunks.
Place cooked sweet potatoes/yams into a blender or food processor, along with all other ingredients. Process until smooth.
Pour into a casserole dish and top with pecans/marshmallows, if desired.
Bake at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes until heated through.

In a small bowl, mix the orange juice with the cinnamon and vanilla.
Place the yams or sweet potatoes in an ovenproof dish, pour the juice mixture over, and top with the orange slices.
Cover with a lid or foil and put in the oven for 50 minutes, or until they are tender.
Cut them crosswise into 1/4 inch slices.
Serve hot or cold as a side dish.
Arrange sweet potatoes (yams) around edges of 12 x 8-inch dish. Place ham slices in center overlapping slightly to fit dish. Combine remaining ingredients to make glaze; pour half over ham and yams.
Cover dish with wax paper.
Microwave at High for 4 minutes. Pour remaining glaze over ham and yams.
Do not cover.
Microwave at High 4 to 7 minutes or until ham is hot.
