Orange Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    large can sweet potatoes (yams)
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. orange juice
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. oleo or butter
    3/4 c. corn syrup
Preparation
    Pour all but 1/4 cup of juice from potatoes and put into casserole dish.
    Combine orange juice and corn syrup and blend well.
    Dot with butter or oleo, then pour fluids over sweet potatoes.
    Simmer, basting frequently, for 15 minutes.
