Yum-Yum Candied Sweet Potatoes (Yams) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 sweet potatoes
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 stick butter, melted
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
    dash of cinnamon
Preparation
    Peel and slice sweet potatoes about 1/2-inch thick.
    Cover sweet potatoes with water; boil until almost tender when pricked with fork.
    Drain.
    Place in baking dish.
    Mix sugars, water, butter and pecans and cook over low heat until slightly thickened. Pour over sweet potatoes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
