Cook in saucepan the strawberry pie filling, chunk pineapple, sugar and cornstarch until it thickens.

Unroll one pie crust onto a lightly floured
Arrange strawberries in crust pan in single layer (if you are not mixing in with pudding/jello mixture).
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil.

Pour into pie crust and chill until set.
Line your pie shell or crust with strawberries.

Turn off heat and add strawberry Jell-O, a few drops of red food color and a dash of salt.

Pour over strawberries and chill thoroughly. Top with Cool Whip.

Put strawberries in cooked pie shell. Pour mixture over berries. Cool. Top with whipped cream and refrigerate.

Cut tops off strawberries and stand upright in pie shell.
(If using bananas, you can slice the bananas and put one layer on the bottom.)
