Shoney Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cooked pie shell or graham cracker pie shell (large)
2 qt. strawberries
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O (dry)
bananas (optional)
Preparation

Cut tops off strawberries and stand upright in pie shell.
(If using bananas, you can slice the bananas and put one layer on the bottom.)
Cook remaining ingredients on low heat, stirring constantly.
When thick and glossy, pour over strawberries and refrigerate.
