Cut sausage in chunks and brown with celery, peppers and onions. Rinse rice again and combine with browned sausage mixture in a large baking dish.
Add water and bake about 1 hour or until done (dissolve 1 chicken bouillon cube per 1 cup of water).
Stir often and check that there is enough moisture.
When moisture needs to be added, use the water with bouillon dissolved in it.
Very good recipe for a large crowd.
For

a half turkey, 7 to 8 pounds, double the recipe.
For
15 pound turkey, make 4 times the recipe; for 25 pound
turkey

When I was preparing this recipe for posting, I used red onion
Mix together and simmer ingredients until vegetables are tender.
Add meat and simmer 1/2 hour.
If sauce seems sour to taste, add white sugar as desired.
Quadruple recipe for 100 people; double recipe for 50 people.
In a bowl, mix cabbage, onion, green pepper, carrot and salt. Let stand one hour.
In saucepan, mix remaining ingredients and let boil 2 minutes.
Let cool, then add to cabbage mixture.
Stir well and eat; or freeze in plastic containers for later.

Cut stewed tomatoes into quarters and add to the vegetables along with the tomato sauce and Italian seasoning.

Mix everything, except rice and shrimp, in large skillet, stirring occasionally.

Stir in shrimp; boil until shrimp are cooked, but still tender (about 5 to 10 minutes).
Cook rice as directed, omitting margarine or butter.
Serve shrimp on rice.
Yield:
4 servings; 215 calories per serving.
Combine oysters with their liquor (juices), clam juice, 1 tablespoon of the butter, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce and celery salt in top of double boiler over boiling water.
Whisk vigorously (without hurting oysters) for 1 minute until the oysters' petticoats begin to ruffle (edges start to curl).
Add cream.
Stir over boiling water for 1 minute more.
Place toast in wide soup bowl.
Pour pan roast over toast.
Dot with remaining tablespoon of butter.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Serve immediately.
Heat the oil in a large saucepan and cook the onion and garlic over low heat for 6-7 mins until softened. Add the rice mix and cook, stirring for 1 min. Pour in the wine and simmer for a few mins then gradually add the stock, about 1 ladleful at a time. Allow the liquid to be absorbed by the rice before adding the next ladleful. This will take about 35 mins.
Stir in the butter and Parmesan cheese and season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve in warm, shallow bowls.

Use a cooking bag.
Shake flour around in cooking bag.
Put meat in bag and add everything.
Kinda shake around to mix up. Marinate in refrigerator for 25 hours, turning bag over every so often.
Cook 6 to 7 hours at 275\u00b0.
If you want, when it has about an hour to go, you can pull it out and cover it with barbecue sauce.

Thaw vegetables and cook in boiling water about 10 minutes; drain, in large bowl.
Combine all ingredients except crackers and oleo, put in baking dish, cover with crackers, cut up oleo on top of crackers.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
Will keep in refrigerator for several days.
In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together very well.
Place a hand full of the mixture a cutting board and roll out or pinch together to the thickness of a bread stick.
If the mixture is too wet just add more quick oats or bread crumbs.
Cut into 2' sections and place on lightly greased baking sheets.
Preheat the oven at 375 and bake for 20 minutes or until there is no pink.
Serve as a side dish with salad and rice or with spaghetti sauce and pasta.
I also use this recipe for hamburgers on the barbecue, it is great!
Mix above ingredients.
Store in airtight container or Ziploc bag.
Mix with 4 cups water for soup.
Mix with 2 cups sour cream for chip dip.
Rub on roast before baking for great gravy base.
Combine all ingredients, in the order listed, in a 237 ml (1 cup) Oster Mini Blend Jar (model #4888-3). Tip: when adding the oil to the mixture, pour some of the oil into the tablespoon measuring spoon so that when the ketchup is measured, it will stick less to the measuring spoon.
