Cover both sides of minute steak with prepared mustard, then flour both sides.
Brown steak in oil on both sides.
Spread sliced onion over top of meat.
Mix soup and 1 cup water to make gravy.
Pour over browned meat and simmer for 1 hour or until tender.

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.

Remove fat from meat and brown.
Cut steak into bite-size pieces.
Add mushrooms and gravy.
Cook noodles and drain.
Serve steak and gravy over noodles.
Excellent with rolls and tossed salad.

Quick Swiss Steak

Cut steak into serving size pieces.
Heat oil in heavy skillet.
Salt and pepper pieces of steak and coat in cornstarch. Brown in hot oil.
Leave in skillet, add 1/2 cup water, onion and tomato sauce.
Cook on medium heat 20 to 30 minutes.
Add extra water, if needed.

Cubed Steak With Gravy

Brown steak in oil; add sliced onion rings.
Remove steak from pan.
Add flour, salt and pepper to oil.
Brown flour.
Add water and replace steak; simmer for 30 minutes.
Steak will be very tender.

May brown if desired.

Mix mushroom soup and water.
Pour over steak.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 2-3 hours.

Barbecued Spicy Beef Minute Steaks

Preheat the BBQ to 160\u00b0C.
Cut each minute steak across the grain.
Divide the spices evenly among the five pieces on one side of the steaks. Or adjust amounts to your tastes.
Turn the steaks over and brush one tablespoon of sauce on each of the steaks.
Put the steaks on the grill, spicy side down, for eight minutes.
Turn over and let it grill for another eight minutes. It should be medium well.
You can put it on for longer or shorter depending on how you like your minute steaks.
