Pop Corn Balls

Pop 2 quarts of popcorn.
Bring sugar and corn syrup to a rolling boil.

from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla. Pour over popcorn, stirring to coat.

Mix the cheese with melted butter or margarine.
Pour the mixture over the pop corn and toss.

Party Mix

In a large shallow baking pan, mix pop corn, pretzel sticks and cheese curls.
Melt butter in small saucepan.
Stir in seasonings.

Pop corn in air popper.
Place into brown paper bag.
In large bowl mix corn syrup, brown sugar, salt and melted butter.
Cook in microwave on High for 4 minutes.
Stir once.
Add soda and vanilla; stir well.
Pour caramel over popcorn and mix with a long wooden spoon.
Fold top of bag over place in microwave.
Cook 1 1/2 minutes on High.
Pour onto large sheet pan and cool.
Store in airtight container if there is any left.

Microwave Caramel Corn

Pop corn in air popper.
Place popcorn and peanuts in double brown grocery bag; set aside.
Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt in glass bowl.
Microwave on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute, until mixture boils.
Microwave 2 minutes more. Stir in soda.
Pour syrup mixture over popcorn in bag.
Close bag; shake well.
Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on High; shake. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on High; shake.
Pour into roasting pan. Cool to separate.

Caramel Corn

Pop corn as usual.
Put in large pan in oven at 250\u00b0 to keep warm.
In heavy pan, melt margarine.
Add sugar, corn syrup and salt.
Cook until temperature reaches 248\u00b0 on candy thermometer. Add baking soda (this will foam).
Pour over popped corn in a thin stream and stir well.
Put corn back in oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes during that time.
Put on waxed paper to cool.

Caramel Corn

Pop corn and put into a large roaster or pan.
Remove all unpopped kernels (if you value your teeth).
Melt margarine; add syrup, sugar, vanilla and salt.
Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes (a good rolling boil).
Add soda and pour over popcorn. Mix with a wooden spoon and toast in oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes in a 200\u00b0 oven.

Microwave Caramel Corn

Pop corn.
In pan, combine all other ingredients, except soda and popcorn.
Bring to boil.
Continue to boil for 2 minutes. Stir in baking soda.
Put popped corn in brown paper bag.
Pour syrup over corn; shake gently.
Microwave 1 1/2 minutes on High. Shake.
Microwave 1 1/2 minutes more.
Pour onto flat pan to cool. Mixture will be very hot.

Boil 4 to 5 minutes, stirring often.
