Combine pop corn and butter.

Place into brown paper bag.
In large bowl mix corn syrup, brown sugar, salt and melted butter.
Cook in microwave on High for 4 minutes.
Stir once.
Add soda and vanilla; stir well.
Pour caramel over popcorn and mix with a long wooden spoon.

Cook 1 1/2 minutes on High.
Pour onto large sheet pan and cool.
Store in airtight container if there is any left.

Place popcorn and peanuts in double brown grocery bag; set aside.
Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt in glass bowl.
Microwave on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute, until mixture boils.

Pop corn.
Place in dishpan.
Combine butter, sugar and syrup in a large pan; bring to a boil.
Boil 4 to 5 minutes, stirring often.
Remove from heat and add salt, soda and vanilla.
(It will foam.)
Pour over popcorn and stir to coat.
