Sprinkle a little sugar on it and put some warm water on it (not too hot or it will kill the yeast).

Start mixing in straight flour, a little at a time, until you get the dough where you can work or knead it down with your hands.
Place in 2 greased bowls (approximately 1/8 cup of melted shortening in each
bowl). Turn dough over in bowls and place in refrigerator.

Brown meat in large pot.
Stir in onion and celery (I cook this for a few minutes).
Stir in tomatoes.
Add chili and garlic powder.
Add beans.
Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
This makes 4 servings.
Chop the garlic finely and in a large dish, mix with the rest of the spicies and oil.
Cut the chicken into long strips about a finger thick.
Thread the chicken strips onto bamboo skewers.
Place the chicken skewers in the spice mixture and coat all of the chicken.
Leave to marinate for as long as possible.
Heat a large frying pan to medium heat. (not too hot or the sugar will burn).
Cook the coated chicken until golden. No oil is required for cooking.
Toss chicken wings in the lemon juice and garlic.
Combine the remaining ingredients.
Set aside 1 tablespoon spice mixture.
Rub the greater portion of the spices onto the wings, distributing them evenly.
Place the wings in a single layer to marinate 2 to 12 hours.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Remove wings from marinade and place on lightly greased foil covered rimmed cookie sheet.
Bake for 40 minutes.
Sprinkle on the reserved spices and bake another 10 minutes.
Nice and spicy, but not too hot!
Mexican oregano, basil, marjoram, cumin, hot chili powder, garlic powder, hickory salt
In big skillet, fry hamburger, green pepper, onion, salt and pepper until hamburger is brown.
Drain excess oil.
Add Hormel hot chili with beans.
Add tomato sauce.
Let simmer 10 minutes on low heat.
If too much for skillet, let simmer in a pot.
Makes 4 servings.
Combine meat, onion and garlic in a large skillet.
Cook until meat is light brown.
Add remaining ingredients (except for beans) and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour.
Add beans (as many as desired) and heat until hot.
Recipe may be halved. Serve with grated cheese, lettuce and sour cream.
Good with Mexican corn bread.
Brown ground beef, onions and celery.
Drain off grease.
Add package of Texas hot chili seasoning, 1/2 package of regular chili seasoning and 1 cup V-8 juice.
Bring to boil.
Simmer for 15 minutes.
Add V-8 juice, chili beans, kidney beans and stewed tomatoes (do not drain beans).
Simmer for a couple of hours.
Add cooked noodles, if desired.

Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef, onion, and garlic in the hot pot until ground beef is browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease. Mix chili powder, cumin, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper into ground beef.
Stir tomatoes, hot chili beans, chili beans, tomato sauce, green chile peppers, jalapeno peppers, lime juice, and hot sauce into ground beef mixture; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until flavors blend, at least 30 minutes.
Mix all the ingredients together, except the eggs & Hot chili sauce.
In a lightly sprayed skillet over medium high stir fry the veggies for apprx 5 minutes.
Lower heat to medium (5 on electric stove).
Pour in the beaten eggs, let them settle for a minute or two, then stir - like scrambled eggs.
Finish cooking for approximately 2 minutes.
Pour the hot sauce over the egg,veggie mixture and serve.
