Process all ingredients in blender until smooth.
Will keep in refrigerator up to 3 weeks.
Stir before serving.
(I usually double this recipe when serving guests.)
Saute butter, onion, celery, and mushrooms until the vegetables are tender.
Add 2 Tbsp. flour.
Bring to boil.
Add broth, rice, salt, and pepper.
Boil until somewhat thickened. Add 1/2 c. whipping cream and let boil for 1 minute.
Add thyme and marjoram.
Serve warm.
Mix 1 c. sour cream, chicken, 1 c. cheese, 3/4 c. salsa, cilantro and cumin. Spoon about 3 c. mixture down center of each tortilla; roll up. Place, seam-side down, in 13X9-inch baking dish. Top with remaining 1/4 c. salsa; cover. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining 1 c. cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with lettuce and tomato. This dish is quite different from my usual fare, but my wonderful wife said it is popular in mill towns.
I'll list it under vegetables, but it could be used as a main dish.

Cream butter, sour cream and sugar.
Combine flour, soda and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and 1 cup sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Blend in flour mix, alternating with sour cream. In another bowl, mix together apples, cinnamon, 1/2 cup sugar and nuts. Spread half the batter in a greased 9-inch tube or Bundt pan. Sprinkle half the cinnamon-apple mix over the batter. Spoon in the rest of the batter and sprinkle on the rest of the cinnamon-apple mix. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.
Cook and then puree broccoli in a food processor.
Saute onion and celery in margarine until transparent. Blend in flour until smooth.
Add broth.
Cook, stirring until slightly thickened. Stir in broccoli, half and half, milk and salt.
Heat thoroughly. I usually double the recipe! I also mix cornstarch and water and add to soup at the end because I like it thicker!

Heat 1/4 c. butter over medium heat until delicate brown. Mix in 2 c. powdered sugar, 1 t. vanilla and about 2-3 T. milk until spreadable.
