Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper. Brown on all sides in 2 tablespoons oil. Add onion and garlic. Brown lightly. Pour off excess oil. Add 1 jar Ragu Italian sauce. Cover and simmer for 2 1/2 hours or until tender.

In large saucepot, heat oil.
Add garlic and sliced onion and saute.
Add tomato puree plus 1 can of water, tomato paste and 1 can of water.
Mix. Add salt and pepper.
Sprinkle in all spices, cheese, Angostura Bitters and Worcestershire.
Stir all together. Brown the sausage and meatballs (see recipes in meat section).
Add to the sauce.
Allow to simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally, or until sauce is slightly thickened and meat is cooked.
Add more of spices, if needed.
May be doubled or tripled.
Cook and stir hamburger, onion and garlic in a 10-inch skillet until hamburger is light brown; drain.
Stir in remaining ingredients except spaghetti.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, 1 hour.
Serve sauce over hot spaghetti.
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
In a large skillet put the chopped onion, garlic, sausage and burger. Cook until brown stirring often.
Drain fat.
Put beef/sausage mixture as well as all remaining ingredients into a LARGE stock pot or Crockpot.
Cook on low for several hours stirring occasionally.
Fish out the bay leaves. Eat what you want that day on Spaghetti and store the rest in single use sized freezer bags in the freezer for future use.
I use this sauce for spaghetti, lasagna, on pizza's etc.
In a bowl soak the bread in the milk until it soaks up most of milk.
Once bread has done this, remove from bowl,disgard milk, roughly brake bread apart and place all of the other ingredients in a bowl with the bread and mix together.
Roll the mixture into small/medium sized balls with your hands.
Brown meat balls in pan with oil then place into oven for 10 minutes at 225 degrees.
Add to a great Italian sauce and simmer for 60 minutes.
Put all ingredients in a Dutch oven and cover with water. Cook till meat is falling apart.
When meat is done, remove from pan and cool slightly. Using scissors or a sharp knife, cut the meat into 1 inch pieces and shred.
Return meat to juice and reheat.
While meat is reheating, get out the number of buns you will be needing.
Split them and HEAVILY BUTTER them (this is one of the big secrets to great Italian beef sandwiches).
Put the hot meat on the buns and wrap in aluminum foil; place on plate with chips and serve hot.

Fill all cans with water and add to sauce.
Then stir well and add sugar and Italian seasoning.
Place meat back into sauce and simmer for 2 hours.
Add more water if sauce thickens.

Serve with spaghetti, ravioli or gnocchi.
Saute Italian sausage and chopped green onion until onion is tender and meat is browned.
Cool; combine with chopped parsley and grated cheese.
Spoon small amounts onto single wontons. Dampen edges of wontons and fold into triangles.
Join 45\u00b0 angle corners and pinch together.
Deep fry until golden brown.
Serve hot, dipping into Italian sauce.
Combine tomatoes and tomato sauce in saucepan.
Heat over medium-high. Combine cornstarch and cooking wine. Add to sauce. Add remaining ingredients. Stir occasionally until thickened.
Use this sauce as a pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce or on any other Italian dish.
Cook sausages in skillet slowly (15 minutes).
Set aside to cool.
Drain some of the grease, leaving enough to saute peppers, onions and garlic until tender.
Add Italian sauce and simmer 10 minutes.
Cut sausages diagonally into slices and add to sauce. Reheat.
Cook rigatoni in salted water.
Drain.
Layer pasta and sauce in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan, starting with sauce and ending with sauce.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Remove.
Layer cheese slices on top and return to oven to melt cheese.
