Cornbread Taco Bake

In skillet, brown meat; drain.
Stir in taco seasoning, water, corn, green pepper and tomato sauce.
Pour into 2 quart casserole.
Prepare cornbread mix as directed and add half the french fried onions to the batter.
Spoon around the outer edge of the casserole.
Bake uncovered at 400\u00b0F for 20 minutes.
Top with cheese and remaining onions.
Bake 2-3 minutes longer.

Brown the following: ground chuck, onion and bell pepper. Add taco seasoning. Pour 1/2 of cornbread mixture into prepared skillet. Pour ground beef mixture in center and spread to edges. Top with grated Cheddar cheese. Cover completely with remaining cornbread mixture. Bake until set. Serve with dollop of sour cream if desired.

Mix cornbread meal according to directions on package. Pour over other ingredients.

Cornbread Dressing

Make up one recipe of cornbread and bake.
Boil 4 to 6 pieces chicken in water until tender.
Take off bone.
Save broth.
Cut up onions and celery.
Boil in small amount of water until tender or cook in microwave with small amount of water about 8 minutes or so. Beat eggs well.
Add broth to breads to soften.
Add all ingredients together.
Grease a large baking dish with butter or spray with Pam.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown and knife comes out clean.
Halve recipe to make smaller amount.

Baked Cornbread Dressing

Bake white cornbread as directed.
Crumble when cool in a 2-quart bowl.
Lightly brown 1/2 cup chopped onions, 1/2 cup diced celery, in 1/3 cup margarine or butter.
Add 2 beaten eggs, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper and 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning to the crumbled cornbread, plus the lightly browned onions and celery. Add 1 1/4 cups of chicken or turkey stock or canned consomme. Stir and pour into a well-greased (6 or 8-inch) square pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or browned to your liking.

Mexican Cornbread

Brown and drain hamburger.
Add taco seasoning and set aside. Combine Jiffy mix, eggs, oil and corn.
In lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan, put half of the cornbread mixture.
Cover this with the hamburger.
Sprinkle tomatoes and cheese over the hamburger. Top with remaining cornbread.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.

Speedy Taco Bake

Brown hamburger and onion; drain off fat.
Add taco seasoning, salsa and corn.
Stir together and put in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle cheese over that.
Mix Bisquick or Recipe Ease, eggs and milk together.
Pour over other mixture and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Shelia'S Cornbread Dressing

Make cornbread according to recipe. Make roux (oil, flour and onions). Add mushroom soup. Boil giblets and grind (save broth to mix with cornbread and seasonings) until soft. Salt and pepper to taste. Add egg, parsley and garlic. Bake in greased casserole dish at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes.

Brown the ground beef with the onion and drain.
Add the salsa, water and Taco seasoning mix.
Stir well and cook 5 minutes over medium hear or until thickened.
Add the olives and the corn. Put in a lightly sprayed 9 x 13 baking dish.
Prepare the Jiffy mix and add the cheese and green chilies to the mixture.
Stir and pour over the meat mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30-35 minutes.

Prepare corn muffin mix as directed on box.
Spread batter into lightly greased 12 inch pizza pan.
Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 minutes until slightly brown.
In a skillet brown ground meat; drain and add seasoning.
Put salsa then meat on baked cornbread.
Top with cheese.
Put back into oven until topping is bubbly and cheese is melted.
Top with sour cream if you please.

Mexican Cornbread Casserole

Prepare cornbread according to package directions.
Brown and drain hamburger and onion.
Add the seasoning and the vegetables. Spread 2/3 cornbread in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Top with grated Cheddar or Colby cheese.
Top with meat and vegetable mixture.
Top with remaining cornbread.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Check by inserting a toothpick.

Taco Bake

Brown in large skillet the hamburger, onion and bell pepper. Drain off any liquid.
Add tomato sauce, taco seasoning and corn. Mix well.
