1. cut potato, cho cho, carrots, and turnip in cubes.
2. slice onion
2. saute sliced onion in frying pan, cook until tender.
3. add water, carrots, cho cho, turnip, and potato.
3. add curry powder, whole scotch pepper, garlic, thyme and ginger.
4. add 1 cup coconut milk and soy margarine until sauce gets creamy.
serve with rice.

Prepare in pot the choyote (cho cho) and carrots.
Saute 3 minutes.
Add broccoli, string beans, onion and pinch of salt to taste.
Cook for about 5 or 6 minutes.
Cut fish into small pieces.
Wash vegetables and prepare as instructed above. Most of them are just thinly sliced.
Mix \"Cho Kochujang (sweet and sour chili sauce)\" ingredients, set aside.
In a large bowl, put rice on the bottom, spread lettuce and salad greens.
Arrange rest of the vegetables, add fish, and spoon smelt roe on top.
Drizzle 1 tsp sesame oil over each serving.
Serve with cho kochujang (sweet and sour chilli sauce).
I like to serve garlic and chilies in a separate bowl, so everybody can add to taste.
FISH:
Rinse the Tilapia filets with water and sprinkle generously with lime juice.
Let sit for 20 minutes.
Pat dry and sprinkle each piece generously with seasoned salt and black pepper.
Pour the flour into a shallow bowl and dredge each piece lightly, shaking off excess.
Set aside.
Heat about 1/2 inch of peanut oil in a frying pan until hot (but not smoking) and fry fish until light golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
Remove fish and drain on paper towels, then arrange in a single layer in glass dish.
MARINADE:
Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0.
Boil the whole chayotes in salted water until tender, about 30 minutes. Drain and cool enough to handle. Halve the chayotes lengthwise and scoop out the interior, including the edible seed, and mash with a fork. Set the shells aside.
Heat the butter in a skillet over moderate heat and saute the onion and garlic until tender but not brown, about 5 minutes. Add the mashed chayote, tomatoes, hot pepper, curry powder, salt & pepper and cook, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes.

Roll one-half the pastry on floured surface into circle 1-inch larger than inverted pie pan.
Ease pastry into pan.
Combine cornstarch, Equal for Recipes, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt; sprinkle over apples in large bowl and toss.
Arrange apples in pie crust. Roll remaining pastry into circle large enough to fit top of pie. Place on top of pie; seal edges, trim and flute.
Slash top crust in pattern of your choice.
Bake in preheated 425\u00b0 oven until pastry is golden and apples are tender (40 to 50 minutes).

Fill unbaked pie shell with sliced apples.
In a bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon and flour.
Pour evenly over the apples.
Then sprinkle vanilla over the mixture.
Then cut up margarine or butter over the top.
Cover with top crust and, with knife, make slits for air.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes and at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
