Rinse chicken wing drummettes and pat dry. Sprinkle wings with salt and pepper and place on a broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5-inches away from the heat for 20 minutes, turning wings once during the middle of broiling. Transfer the wings to the crock-pot. Combine barbecue sauce, honey, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce in a mixing bowl. Pour over wings. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place chicken in a pot with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil and cook 25 minutes, until chicken juices run clear. Drain liquid from pot and shred chicken. Mix wing sauce and butter into pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes.
