In clean mixer bowl, at high speed, beat egg white with lemon juice until frothy.
Gradually beat in confectioners sugar.
Beat mixture about 5 minutes or until very thick and white.
Tint if desired with paste or liquid food coloring.
Pipe or spread about 1 teaspoon icing onto each baked and cooled cookie.
Let dry until hardened.
Add 50 calories (optional).
Combine first four ingredients, beat well.
Add eggs and beat again. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop small balls of dough on cookie sheet and flatten slightly with fork. Bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 10-12 min.
Makes lots of cookies, may want to cut recipe in half.

Cream all of the sugar, powdered sugar, butter, oil and eggs together in a mixer, then add the rest of the ingredients.
You can add chocolate chips or M&M's or anything you want to the mix or just have them plain.
Mixture will be light in color and will be soft.

Mix well.
Add eggs and beat for 1 minute until well blended.

Cream oil, sugar and eggs together.
Next add all of the remaining ingredients.
Batter will be soupy.
Drop 1/4 cup batter or less on cookie sheet.
Six on a sheet.
Makes big cookies. Sprinkle with sugar or cinnamon sugar.
You can also drop raisins or butterscotch or chocolate bits on top.
You may need to lower heat in your oven.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 7 to 8 minutes.
Mix well white and powdered sugars, butter, oil and eggs.
Mix well vanilla, salt, cream of tartar, baking soda and flour.
Blend all ingredients together and then chill.
With floured hands, shape into balls.
Place on cookie sheet.
Flatten with the bottom of a chilled glass dipped in sugar.

Makes good Christmas cookies and they freeze well.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Mix together vegetable oil (yes, 1 1/2 cups of vegetable oil), sugar and eggs. Mix in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, buttermilk, salt and vanilla.
Pour teaspoon-sized amounts of batter onto cookie sheets, leaving plenty of room in between. These cookies will puff up and get large.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
