Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. corn oil
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine the first 4 ingredients.
Add eggs; beat well.
Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
Chill in refrigerator overnight. Roll into balls; press down and sprinkle with sugar or cookies can be iced after baking.
Put on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
