Ingredients

1 c. vegetable cooking oil
1 c. butter or margarine, at room temperature
1 c. sugar
1 c. confectioners sugar
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 eggs
Preparation

Combine butter or margarine, oil and sugars in large mixing bowl.
Mix well.
Add eggs and beat for 1 minute until well blended.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat well.
In separate bowl combine flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.
Add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
Drop by small teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Yield:
About 5 dozen cookies.
