Spread 1000 Island dressing on bread.
On half, place equal amounts of cheese, beef and sauerkraut. Top with remaining bread. In skillet, grill until browned.
Brown hamburger in skillet; drain and cool to room temperature.
Cut lettuce, add tomatoes, onions and cheese. Drain kidney beans and olives.
Add to salad.
Add 1000 Island dressing to hot sauce to salad.
Stir.
Just before serving add chips and cool hamburger.
Stir.
Spread sauerkraut in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Break corned beef up into small pieces over kraut.
Spread grated cheese on as next layer.
Mix 1000 Island and mayonnaise and spread on top of cheese.
Top with bread crumbs or croutons.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese is melted and casserole is warm.
Mix together Ranch dressing, 1000 Island dressing, mustard and relish. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve with chips.
Combine ingredients into a mixing bowl.
Blend with with hand-held mixer until the mixture has the consistency and texture of cottage cheese.
Serve chilled with vegetables commonly used for crudite trays, such as cauliflower, celery, carrots, broccoli, etc.
Heat oven
to 375\u00b0 in 8-inch square baking dish.
Layer sauerkraut, caraway
seed, 1 cup cheese, 1000 Island dressing, corned beef
and
remaining
cheese.
Toss\tbread
cubes
with melted butter.
Sprinkle
over
top.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until
heated through.
Before serving, sprinkle with parsley. Makes 6 servings.
Mix the potatoes, eggs, onion, clery and pickles in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients.
Add the dressing mixture in small amounts to the potato mixture and stir gently.
Keep adding dressing mixture in small amounts to taste - you may not use the entire batch. Leftovers make great deviled eggs!
This is best when prepared the day before and allowed to refrigerate overnight.
Toast bread and spread slices with 1000 Island dressing.
Place a slice of cheese on each slice of bread.
Trim asparagus to width of turkey slices.
Roll each asparagus spear in a turkey slice.
Line one slice of bread with the asparagus/turkey rolls.
Top with alfalfa sprouts& the 2nd slice of bread.
Put sandwich on a lightly greased griddle and heat until cheese melts.
Slice on the diagonal (just my preference).
Preheat oven to 350.
Spray 9 x 13\" pan with cooking spray.
Place corned beef strips along bottom of pan.
Spread sauerkraut over top evenly.
Pour 1000 Island Drssing evenly over top.
Layer slices of swiss cheese until evenly covered.
Brown/sautee torn pumpernickel bread with butter in fry pan until browned and crisp.
Layer bread over top of casserole.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
Let cool 10 minutes, serve.
Combine sauerkraut, onions, parsley and caraway seeds in a bowl; mix well. Layer mixture in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Next layer is the corned beef.
Sprinkle 1 cup shredded cheese on top of mixture. On top of cheese spread 1/4 cup 1000 Island dressing.
Toss together rye bread and butter and sprinkle over dressing. Top entire casserole with 1 cup shredded cheese.
Bake 375 degrees for 35 minutes.
Island: Mix all ingredients thoroughly in
Beat cream cheese, Thousand Island dressing and milk in a small bowl with electric mixer at low speed until smooth. Stir in crab, red bell pepper, lemon juice and parsley. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour to blend flavors. Serve as a dip with Wheat Thins crackers.

Sweat onion
In medium saucepan, sprinkle unflavored gelatine over 1 cup water.
Stir over low heat until gelatine dissolves, about 3 minutes; add remaining water, sour cream, thousand island dressing, lemon juice, salmon, onion, and dill.
Turn into 6 cup mold and chill until firm.

Stir cream, Thousand Island dressing, pepper juice, ketchup, and

Lightly fry in oil until brown. Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.

For the Coney Island Chili Dog, brown the ground
ith a dollop of Thousand Island dressing.
Make Rich Tea Biscuit dough, adding more milk to make a drop biscuit dough. Spread the dough 1/2 inch deep in an oblong 9 x 12-inch baking dish. Peel and pare apples; cut in eighths. Press apple slices into top of dough very close together. (It won't hurt if more than a layer thick.) Dot with butter or oleo. Mix cinnamon and sugar together.
Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done. Serve warm or cold with Lemon Sauce (recipe follows).
