VARIATIONS:
In a small saucepan, dissolve Splenda in water. Bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Place in sealed container and refrigerate until chilled. Use 3/4 oz for recipe and reserve rest for later use.
In a tall glass filled with ice, add simple syrup, lemon juice and Gin. Stir well. Top with club soda. Add a lemon wedge for garnish if desired.
Add syrup,water and splenda to make a syrup.

This is not my recipe, picked it up off of a running site . My Mil needed a sugar free granola to make bars. Original recipe had ~2 c of dried fruits/raisins, etc, added after cooking ,as well as nuts This works well for mil to make granola bars as sugar free as she can!

NON-ALCOHOLIC VERSIONS:
Instead of wine, use apple juice or apple cider for a totally different kick. A splash of 7-Up (white) soda will cut the wine nicely, too.
Stir together the cornstarch, Karo syrup and water.
Put on stove and cook until clear.
Cook 1 to 2 minutes.
Add sugar-free jello and cook 2 minutes on low heat.
Use 6 packets of Equal in 1 quart of fresh or frozen strawberries.
Combine with cornstarch mixture and put in baked pie crust.
Put Cool Whip on top when cool.
