Brown in skillet the ground chuck and onion.
Remove from heat and stir in kidney beans and salt and pepper.
Combine in a large salad bowl the lettuce, tomatoes and tortilla chips.
Put meat and bean mixture in a bowl.
May use the Chili Tomato Sauce recipe or taco sauce of your choice.
Serve meat and bean mixture over salad mixture (individual servings).
Put chili sauce or taco sauce over the mixture.
Fry ground beef until brown. Drain fat.
Add 1/2 cup water & taco seasoning & thicken.
Let taco mix cool.
In a large salad bowl mix lettuce, tomato, cheese, salsa & hamburger.
Add salad dressing to taste.
Either add sour cream to salad or set aside.
Add liberal amounts of taco chips.
PS. The salad is usually only good for one day as the lettuce and chips get soft.

Add package of taco seasoning mix and about half of taco sauce.
Simmer.
Put tortilla chips on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan, then ground beef mixture.
Layer cheese on meat.
Then add lettuce, onion and tomato.
Mix remaining taco sauce and 1/2 of bottle of Zesty Italian dressing and pour over salad.
Brown hamburger meat and drain.
Put meat back in frying pan and add seasoning mix.
Prepare per directions on package.
After completion of cooking time, place hamburger meat in casserole dish. Sprinkle 1/2 of cheese on top of meat.
Add shredded lettuce, tomato or other veggies, if desired.
Pour 1/2 of taco sauce over all.
Sprinkle rest of cheese over mixture.
Top with sour cream, black olives and rest of taco sauce.
Use chips to dip salad.

Saute chicken breast in med.
size frypan, I use just a little oil so chicken doesn't stick.
Once it is cooked, remove from pan, and dice up the breasts.
Add Salsa and Taco seasoning to pan.
Return chicken diced to pan, and let simmer in sauce for 30 minutes.
Place bed of lettuce on dinner plate, and add serving of Taco Mix on top of lettuce.
Serve chips on the side, they are great to scoop the salad on your fork.

Saute the chopped onions.
Add the ground chuck and let it brown; drain well.
Add the pinto beans and the 2 envelopes of taco seasoning mix.
Add the amount of water called for on the back of the seasoning mix package (on Sauer's it is 1 cup of water per envelope).
Let all of these ingredients simmer.

Pour small bottle of creamy Italian over sour cream.

Spread refried beans on bottom of a large dish with straight sides or 2 pie pans.
Next spread guacamole or taco salad dressing mix that you mixed with sour cream.
Make in the order above.
If you want it a little spicier, you might use a little taco sauce spread on top of the tomatoes.
Its about 2 inches deep in one casserole.
Brown 1 pound ground beef; drain the excess grease.
Add 1/2 cup water and contents of taco seasoning package.
Simmer until water is cooked off.
In a big salad bowl, chop and mix lettuce, tomato, onions and taco cheese.
Do not mix taco meat or nacho chips until ready to eat.
Do not add meat or chips if you are going to store overnight.
Before adding nacho chips, break into small pieces.
Cook 2 pounds of hamburger the night before you will eat this then add the 2 packages of taco seasoning.
Right before you eat it add your cut up onion, lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, I crunch the dorito's in the bag and then add the western dressing.
It is the best taco salad you will ever eat.
I put 8 hours for the time that I chilled the hamburger meat and taco seasoning.
