Place the rack of beef ribs in front of you on

Separate beef ribs.
Set aside.
Heat and stir remaining ingredients until sugar dissolves.
Let cool.
Marinate ribs in sauce for two hours or overnight.
Next day, lift ribs from marinade, gently shaking off excess.
Barbecue, basting occasionally with remaining marinade.

Pour entire bottle of barbecue sauce over the ribs.
Add sliced onions over the top.
Cover and cook on low for eight hours.
Mix all the dry spices for the rub.
Rub on beef ribs and slow cook in a 250F oven for 3-4 hours.
Whisk all the BBQ sauce ingredients together.
Baste with BBQ sauce and grill for 10-15 minutes.

While the ribs are browning, combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan; simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the flavors are well blended, adjusting all seasonings to suit taste.
Place the ribs into a medium size roasting pan, and cover with the sauce.
Bake at 325*F. for about 2-1/2 hours, or until the ribs are cooked to desired tenderness.
Baste with sauce occasionally.

Choose beef ribs with little gristle or fat and cut into 3 to 4-inch lengths.
Score each piece of meat deeply with a sharp knife several times so cooked meat will be easier to remove from bone. Combine all other ingredients, except onion and bell pepper, and pour mixture over meat pieces, rubbing together with hands so beef ribs are well coated with seasonings.
