Follow recipe on gumbo base container to
Prepare rice according\tto basic rice recipe except for baking.
Stir in

ingredients\texcept chicken.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for

Remove rice from oven and stir in chicken.
Return to oven and bake an additional ten minutes or until all liquid is absorbed.

In a 4-quart pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the onions and garlic and stir-fry until golden. Add the rice and cook, stirring constantly, until slightly toasted and fragrant, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the water, bay leaf, tomatoes and salt and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce the heat so that the rice just simmers. Cook undisturbed until tender, about 20 minutes. Remove from the heat and let stand covered without stirring for 10 minutes.
Fluff with a fork, discard the bay leaf, and serve.
Boil 3 cups of water.
Add 5 cups of rice; stir once.
When water evaporates add 2 cups of milk.
When rice begins to thicken, add the sugar.
(The sugar will dissolve.)
Stir until rice thickens.
Let sit for 10 minutes.
Add eggs and stir rapidly. Pour into a plate or small cups.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Add oil and garlic to large skillet over med heat.
Cook until garlic soft.
Add tomato paste. Cook for about 3 minutes.

Transfer skillet to over for about 30 minutes until rice is cooked.

Bring milk and water in saucepan to a boil (watch carefully). Turn to low; add rice.
Cover 20 minutes.
Turn off heat.
Pour sugar; mix quickly (will be soft).
Mix eggs separately, then mix together with rice.
Again mix quickly.
Let set in serving dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

In a pot cook sausage with onion and season.
Follow directions for cooking rice in saucepot.
Bring water, rice, lemon peel or orange peel and 1 cinnamon stick to a boil. Then add the milk and sugar. Stir frequently. Beat egg yolks in a bowl. When rice is fully cooked, quickly stir in the egg yolk. Remove the orange or lemon peel and the cinnamon stick from mixture. Place pudding in a serving tray and top with sprinkled ground cinnamon.
Melt butter in a large, heavy pot over medium-high heat; add onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, sausage, black pepper, basil, and oregano. Saute vegetable mixture until the vegetables are very tender, 10 to 15 minutes.
Stir beans into the vegetable mixture; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Pour water over the vegetable mixture; add rice and stir. Place a cover on the pot, reduce heat to low, and cook until the rice is tender and the moisture completely absorbed, 20 to 25 minutes.
