In a food processor or large mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients.
Pulse to mix the ingredients or turn your mixer on low to mix well, 1 T at a time add the shortening-mixing well after each addition.
This will keep for 6 weeks in your fridge, 4 weeks on the shelf.
To make a pourable crust combine 2/3 cups baking mix with 2 eggs and 1 cup of milk.
Mix well.

3 Finger Biscuits

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Blend biscuit mix and milk; stir well.
Turn onto surface sprinkled with baking mix and form a ball.
Knead 3 or 4 times.
Roll or pat to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut with sharp 2-inch cutter without twisting and place close together on baking sheet.
Let rise a few minutes. Then with 3 fingers, pat biscuits down.
Bake 11 to 13 minutes. Brush tops with melted butter or margarine before baking or after. Yields 18 biscuits.

Mix baking mix, Sprite and sour cream.
Roll out onto floured pastry sheet to 1 inch thickness.
Cut with biscuit cutters and place on cookie sheet.
Melt 1/4 cup butter. Brush over biscuits. Bake at 375\u00b0 until brown.

Chicken Dumpling Pie

Stir together first 5 ingredients, pour into a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Stir together baking mix, sour cream and milk; pour over chicken mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes or until topping is golden.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Beat together sugar, milk, melted butter and egg.
Stir into Mix just until moisted.
Fold in fruit and/or nuts.
Fill greased muffin cups and bake at 425 for 20 minutes.

Stir liquid into Mix just until moistened.
Knead a few times on floured board.
Roll or pat out to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into biscuits.

Cut chicken into strips.
Heat skillet and add oil.
Saute chicken for 5 minutes.
Add green pepper and onion.
Continue cooking until tender.

Broccoli Puff(Healthy Diabetic Recipe)

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Spray a 1 1/2-quart casserole or 5 1/2-cup souffle dish with cooking spray.
Cook broccoli as directed on package; drain.
Beat baking mix, milk, eggs and salt until smooth.
Stir in broccoli and cheese.
Pour into dish/casserole.
Bake 1 hour.
