Set oven 400\u00b0F.
Wrap each

Add candied yams and nuts.
Pour melted butter on top.

Mix with all ingredients.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Butter
In a saucepan melt first 3 ingredients.
Pour over yams. (I use 3 very large yams which have been wrapped in aluminum foil and baked until soft.
Peel and slice about 1 1/2 inches thick.
Set on end in baking dish and pour candied sauce over yams.)
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until sauce boils and yams are heated through.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Scrub the yams with a vegetable brush and boil them in their jackets uncovered for 30 minutes (or fork tender). Drain, peel, and cut in 2\" thick rounds.
In a pot boil sugar, butter, water, salt, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg 5 minutes.
Arrange yams in a 9x13 pan. Add peeled, cored, sliced apples. Tuck in the nuts and fresh cranberries amongst the yams and apples. Pour syrup over the top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Remove from heat, stir, and serve.
Microwave directions:
Combine all ingrediens in a microwave safe dish.
Cover and mocrowave on high for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes. Stir and serve.
Remove skin from baked potatoes.
Slice as desired.
Pour crushed pineapple with juice over potatoes.
Sprinkle sugar over. Place sliced butter over or on top.
Add vanilla.
Add grated orange peel, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Place in 350\u00b0 oven 1 or 1 1/2 hours, until candied and brown.
Yields 4 servings.
Place yams in 2-quart casserole.
In medium saucepan, melt butter.
Add sugar, cranberries, salt and pepper.
Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until cranberries pop and sugar dissolves.
Pour over yams in casserole.

Sift the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and set aside.
Cream together the yams and sugar until smooth.
Add butter; mix.
Add eggs; mix.
Add milk; mix.
Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
Fold in nuts and/or chocolate chips if using.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Sprinkle top with more cinnamon sugar mixture.
Bake for 60 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes.
Remove from pan to wire rack to cool completely.
nto a preheated 325\u00b0F oven for about 1 1/2
Pour can of Yams in a casserole (or oven safe cookware).
Drain and save 1/2 cup of liquid and pour back into yams.
Sprinkle Yams with Brown Sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and mix well.
Pat Butter on top.
Place in preheated 350' oven for 30-35 minutes.
Peel yams; cook until tender, not mushy (1/2-inch slices). Heat oven to 375\u00b0. Place in large 3-quart baking dish. Mix together remaining ingredients in heavy saucepan and bring to boil. Simmer 3 minutes. Pour over yams and bake 30 minutes, basting until well candied.
Peel and cut yams in chunks; cover with water and boil. Simmer until fork tender. Drain and save 1 cup liquid.
Layer in 9 x 13-inch buttered dish. Put 1 cup liquid, butter and sugar in a saucepan. Boil until it thickens.
Pour over yams. Cook in oven for 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Put marshmallows on yams right before done. Cook until melted and lightly browned.
