Simmer raisins for 20 minutes.
Remove raisins from juice and let cool.
You will need 1/2 cup of juice from raisins.
Cream together margarine, eggs, sugar and vanilla, then add raisin juice.
Sift flour, baking powder, salt, soda and spices together. Slowly mix dry ingredients into creamed mixture. When thoroughly mixed add old fashioned oats, nuts and raisins last.
Bake at 400\u00b0 on top rack for 10 minutes.

Frosting: Cream softened
Cream oil, sugar and cocoa.
Add eggs.
Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk.
Add soda and salt. Add vanilla to hot water and fold water into cake. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until done.
Icing For Old-Fashioned Chocolate Cake: Bring margarine, cocoa and whole milk to boil.
Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and vanilla.
Mix until smooth and of spreading consistency.
This is my favorite chocolate cake.

Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Place ham slices in shallow baking pan. Roast until internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F.
Mix pineapple and oranges with ham glaze in medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2 minutes. Spoon half of glaze over top of ham; roast an additional 10 minutes. Place ham slices on serving platter. Serve with remaining warmed glaze.
In a saucepan, melt butter.
Add the brown sugar, 7-up, cornstarch, and ham glaze to the melted butter.
Cook until thickened.
Place sliced ham in a roasting pan.
Pour glaze mixture over ham.
Cover ham with foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees OR.
Crockpot:
Pour a little sauce in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add the ham and pour the rest of the sauce over the ham.
Cook on high for 2-4 hours or low 4-6 hours.
Coat large skillet with no-stick cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium heat. Saute ham, 1/3 at a time, 15 seconds or until ham is lightly browned. Remove from skillet and place in large bowl.
Heat oil in same skillet over medium-low heat. Add onion and green pepper; saute 7 minutes or until tender.
Stir in ham glaze, undrained pineapple, brown sugar and vinegar. Heat through. Pour over ham in bowl; toss to coat. Serve on rolls.

To serve, add ham cubes to your favourite recipes. Defrost in the microwave if necessary.
