In a large soup pot - combine the chicken broth, beef
Cut vegetables in large pieces.
Combine all ingredients in large pot or crock pot.
Cover and bake for five to six hours at 275\u00b0 in pot; or low in crock pot.
Place stew meat in crock-pot.
Cover with onion soup mix. Layer sliced carrots, celery, onions and potatoes on top of meat. Add tomato soup; pour over mixture.

Take the sausage and parboil for 10 minutes; drain and cut in half.
Mix potatoes, onions and sausage.
