"Eat The Pan" Meat Loaf

Cut the zucchini in half lengthwise and scoop out the center. Prepare your meat loaf recipe as usual.
Mound the meat loaf in the zucchini halves.
Bake according to meat loaf recipe.
Remove from oven and serve.
There's no clean-up because you can eat the \"pan.\"

Liver Loaf (Pork)

Cook pork liver in water to cover for 20 minutes (save liquid).
Grind liver, bacon and onion.
Add other ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.

Cover liver with hot water; simmer 5 minutes.
Drain liquid and reserve for stock.
Put liver and onion through food chopper using medium blade.
Add remaining ingredients except bacon to the ground liver mixture.
Form into loaf in a 5 x 9-inch pan.
Top with bacon slices.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.

Liver Loaf

Brown beef liver in hot fat.
Put
through
food chopper with pork
sausage.
Add
bread
crumbs,
minced
onion, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt,
pepper, celery, salt, eggs and bouillon.\tTop with bacon slices.\tPlace in buttered 9 x 5 x 3-inch buttered loaf pan.
Bake at
350\u00b0
for 45 minutes. Serves 4.

Liver Loaf

Fry pork, remove from pan, add liver.
Sear on both sides. Grind pork and liver.
Pour water over cracker crumbs and combine all ingredients.
Dot with butter and bake (375\u00b0) for 40 minutes. Serves 4.

Microwave Meat Loaf

In

large bowl, combine all ingredients.
Shape into loaf in\toblong\t2-quart baking dish.

dish occasionally.
Drain;
let
stand,
covered,
5 minutes.
(May substitute your favorite meat loaf recipe.)

Stuffed Peppers

Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0. Add cheese to Basic Meat Loaf recipe. Cut peppers in halves and stuff with meat mixture.
Pour Marinara Sauce over them and bake 1 hour.

Meat Loaf Surprise

Make your favorite meat loaf. Put in deep baking dish. Meat loaf should be no more than 3-inches thick. Put soup on top of meat loaf; smooth out. Mix peas and corn together; pat on top of soup. Top with hash browns or tater tots.

Meat Loaf Hot Dish

Make your favorite meat loaf, using very ground beef.
Pat in bottom of casserole.

Danish Pork Liver Pate

Put the liver, anchovies, suet & onion through a meat chopper at least 3 times or use a food processor.
The mixture should be quite fine in the texture. Mix in the flour, cream, eggs, salt, pepper & allspice.
Spoon the mixture into a buttered loaf pan.
Put it in a pan of water and bake in a 350F oven for an hour.
If the pate is browning too quickly place a piece of foil loosely over it. To serve, unmold the pate.
Serve with fried mushrooms, bacon bits, and [b][Danish White Cucumber Pickles][/recipe] and Danish rye bread.

Chicken Liver Pate

Line a bread loaf pan with plastic wrap. line bottom of pan with cracked pistachios.
Fry Chicken Liver with Shallots and Thyme in 1/2 stick of butter until almost cooked. Add in Garlic. Cook until Liver is no longer pink. Remove from heat. Add Cognac/Brandy and let cook down. Add Nutmeg and 1 cube soft butter. Let butter melt down a bit. Add mixture to food processor and puree until smooth. Mix in a handful of whole, cracked pistachios. Add to loaf pan, cover and refrigerate until firm. Serve on top of toasted Crostini.

Puree all of the above in a food processor.
Pour onto a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil which has been oiled.
Mixture will be thick.
Press flat and even.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Brownies are done when the pink is gone.
Do not over bake or the brownies will crumble.
Recipe may be doubled.
You can also use fresh garlic instead of the garlic powder, and/or add parsley flakes for color.

Egyptian Fried Beef Liver (Kibda Skandrani)

Egyptian Condiment recipe: Put all 6 ingredients in liquidiser then into a 1/2 litre bottle,add cold water till full, shake and keep refrigerated.
In a small frying pan put approx 1/2 cup of oil, when hot add the thin cut liver,salt and mix while cooking.
(don't overcook).
After several minutes add some Egyptian condiment according to taste.
Spoon into fresh pitta bread and squeeze some lemon juice......Enjoy!
