Boil crabs in approximately 3 quarts water for about 15 minutes.
Make dark roux by browning flour in 2 tablespoons oil; set aside.
Smother okra in 2 tablespoons oil, adding tomatoes when okra is nearly cooked.
Add all ingredients to boiling crabs. Cover and cook slowly 30 minutes.
Add liquid crab boil to taste.
In large pot, mix a gallon of water with the liquid crab boil and salt.
Bring to a boil.
Add corn and boil for 5 minutes.
Add potatoes and boil for 10 minutes.
Add onions and sausage and boil for 5 minutes.
Add shrimp.
After 5 minutes, drain and serve with crusty bread.
Makes 6 servings.
Cover beans with hot water and let soak overnight.
Next morning, add all other ingredients, except for hot sauce and liquid crab boil, to beans.
Let come to full boil for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to low and cook for 30 minutes.
Then add hot sauce and liquid crab boil.
Cook 30 minutes longer.

Before serving, pour Heinz chili sauce over crab ball.

Coat shrimp with all seasoning.

Place in oven under broiler until pink, then pour sauce on them.
