Butter one side of each slice of bread.
Assemble sandwich as follows:
First bread slice, butter side down.
One slice cheese.
Pork and sauerkraut.
Apple slice.
Sprinkle with brown sugar.
One slice of cheese.
Next slice of bread butter side up.
(Having the pork in the middle helps to keep the bread from getting soggy).
Grill as you would a grilled cheese making sure to cover with a lid as cooking.
In a crockpot place the onions, bell pepper on the bottom.
Add the sweet potatoes, peas and canned tomatoes, sprinkle with the thyme and the hot sauce,tuck the bay leaf into the juices.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Brown ground beef, onion, and bell pepper until beef is browned and veggies are tender.
In an oven safe baking dish (we use an oven safe glass bowl) combine pork and beans, tomato soup, dry mustard, sugar, and salt and pepper.
Drain ground beef mixture and add to bean mixture. Stir well.
Bake for 40 minutes.
Pour pork and beans into 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Add brown sugar and onion; add catsup.
Top with bacon. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 2 hours.
Yield:
6 servings.
Cut lettuce, tomato, green onions and bell pepper.
Add grated cheese, pork and beans and dressing.
When ready to serve, toss in Fritos.

Boil first 3 ingredients in 3 cups water.
Brown hamburger and add potatoes, soup and pork and beans.
Heat thoroughly to boiling and serve.
Remove pork fat from pork and beans.
Mash beans and pineapple.
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes in a greased jelly roll pan.
For frosting, boil sugar, milk and butter for 1 minute and stir in chips until melted.
Spread on cooled bars while mixture is thin.
