Pork And Bean Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. raisins
1 c. boiling water
3 eggs
1 c. oil
2 c. sugar
1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Mix raisins with boiling water.
Stir and set aside.
Beat eggs, oil, sugar and pork and beans until beans are broken (will not break up small but will be fine anyway).
Add flour and rest of dry ingredients to bean mixture.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Drain raisins, add and mix well.
Pour into 3 well-greased bread pans. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
