Cover the ham with water in a stockpot.
Leave generous portions of ham on ham bone; cook on low for several hours in water in Dutch oven.
Refrigerate in liquor for 1 or 2 days.
Remove; cut up leftover ham in chunks.
Simmer again in liquor, adding split peas.
After 1 hour, add beans and rice. Cook on low; as mixture thickens, add chunks of onion.
Simmer until soup is soft.
Can be served on noodles or biscuits.
Place ham in baking pan. Pour Coke over ham, place pineapple and cherries around over ham, using toothpicks to hold in place. Pour some of the pineapple and cherry juice over ham. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake at lowest oven setting overnight. I usually put mine on about 11pm and take it out first thing Christmas morning.

Then spread the diced hard-boiled eggs on top of the ham.

Pour the white sauce evenly over the ham and eggs.
Top with the second crust-- crimping the edges tightly and cutting vent holes.
Bake at 350 for about an hour, until the crust is golden brown.
Fry potatoes and onion in butter and vegetable oil in large skillet, until browned.
Add ham, corn, salt and pepper.
Stir well, cooking on medium, 5 minutes.
Turn off heat.
Lay sliced cheese over top of skillet and cover for 5 minutes.
Uncover and fold cheese into dish with wooden spoon.

For slow even cooking, prepare grill by placing charcoals along 2 sides, leaving the center open.
Trim all excess fat from ham; place ham on grill and cook covered for 1 hour. Mix equal portions of prepared mustard, currant jelly and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat; stir until becomes a clear liquid. Baste ham every 15 minutes for the last 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on size of the ham.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl combine the ham/leftover meat, macaroni, cheese, milk, soup, vegetables, salt and pepper and mix well. Spread mixture into a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
Bake ham for 1 hour. On top of stove in saucepan, heat cranberry sauce, mustard and pepper. The more pepper the more it tastes like barbecue sauce. I use about 3/4 teaspoon to 1 can of sauce. Heat until smooth. Pour over ham, draining any water juice off of ham first. Bake for remainder of time, just cover ham, pricking with fork. Use the rest of sauce on the table for sauce after baked. Good.
