Braunschweiger Ball

Let braunschweiger and cream cheese set at room temperature until softened.
Mix braunschweiger, onion, chili sauce and 3oz of cream cheese together until well combined.
Form into a ball and refrigerate for 1 hour to firm ball.
After 1 hour, remove ball from refrigerator and carefully spread the 5oz of cream cheese over top.
Lay sliced olives over the surface.
Chill then serve with crackers.

Christmas Tags

Cut out picture from Christmas card, then with pinking shears, cut construction paper about 1/4 inch larger than the picture. Hold 2 pieces together and punch a hole in the top with hole punch.
Take approximately 4 inches of ribbon, double it over, put the looped end through punched hole and pull the two cut ends through the loop and tighten.
Tie tag to package.
These can be made from any size Christmas card.
Write to and from on the construction paper.

Grammy Billings Steamed Christmas Pudding With Sherry Sauce

CHRISTMAS PUDDING:
Mix all ingredients for the Christmas Pudding together well.
Put into 1-pound coffee cans or other cans that have been greased.
Put a piece of foil over the top securely.
Set cans in water and steam for 3 hours, watching that the water does not boil away.
Serve with Sherry Sauce on top of each piece.
SHERRY SAUCE:
Beat eggs well.
Put sugar and butter in a bowl and work with fingers.
Add the beaten eggs and then beat again with mixer.
Add the sherry and mix well.

Christmas Rice Krispies Marshmallow Balls

In a double boiler, melt caramels, butter, and milk. Keep water in the bottom of pot to a minimum boil.
Dip one marshmallow into melted mix using a fork (or something sharp).
Remove, and roll in Christmas colored Rice Krispies.
Place on tray covered with wax paper.
Repeat until bag of marshmallows is finished.
Freeze marshmallow balls if desired.
Enjoy.

Dessert Cheese Ball

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla until fluffy.
Gradually add sugars and beat until just combined.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Form cheese into a ball using hand protection (Saran wrap, wax paper, etc).
Optional- just before serving, roll in additional chocolate chips or nuts of your choice.
Serve with graham crackers.

Christmas Wreath Punch

Mix juice, syrup and ginger ale together well.
Add Christmas Ice Ring.

Sherbet Christmas Pie

Place lime sherbet in bowl.
Stir in 1/4 Cool Whip until smooth*.
Spoon into crust.
Place raspberry sherbet in bowl.
Stir in 1/4 Cool Whip until smooth*.
Spoon on top of lime sherbet/Cool Whip mixture.
Cover with remaining Cool Whip.
Freeze about 4 hours or until firm.
Let stand about 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with Christmas candy.
Store pie in freezer.

Christmas Pudding Shots

Crumble Christmas pudding into a jug. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend with a hand blender until smooth and fluffy. Leave to chill in fridge for approximately 4 hours.
Blend the mixture again before serving with a little extra milk until you have froth. Pour straight into chilled shot glasses.

Leftover Christmas Pudding Ice Cream

Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until thick and pale.
Break up the Christmas pudding with a fork and distribute it evenly through the yolk mixture.
Add the rum and mix.
Whip the cream until soft peaks and fold into the mixture.
Whip the egg whites, stiffly, and fold into the mixture.
Transfer to a container and freeze for several hours until set.
This ice cream does not require beating during freezing.

Bacon Cheddar Cheese Ball

Mix all items together except the additional 1 cup of cheddar cheese that you will use to roll the ball inches.
With a spoon pull mixture toward middle of the bowl and try to form a ball.
Then cover and place in refrigerator until chilled and firm.
After it has chilled, it will be easier to work with.
Roll the cheese mixture into a ball and roll in additional cup of grated cheddar cheese.
Roll until all sides are coated and press the cheese into the ball.

Mix all ingredients together and form ball.
Roll ball with remaining 1/2 nuts.

Cheese Ball

Mix ingredients well.
Roll into ball. Put reserved nuts on waxed paper. Roll ball over nuts until covered.

Spice Ball

With a pencil or crayon, mark styrofoam ball into 8 equal sections.
Along these lines, insert whole cloves to outline the sections.
Cover one section at a time with white glue, then sprinkle with one of the spices until styrofoam is completely covered.
Alternate sections of whole and ground spices.
Let the ball dry, then decorate with a sprig of holly or pine.
Make a loop of the ribbon and pin it to the ball so it can be hung.
