Work flour and butter with fingers until it reaches the consistency of cornmeal.
Add grated cheese, work until a smooth consistency is reached.
Put in spritz gun cookie press with star shaped template. Extrude onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in slow oven, about 250\u00b0 to 275\u00b0 until dry throughout.
Do not let cheese straws brown.
