Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Cracker Barrel sharp cheese (red foil wrapper)
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. plain flour, unsifted
    1/4 tsp. red pepper or cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Grate cheese and butter.
    Mix in flour, salt and pepper to form a soft dough.
    Using the small star design of a crank-type cookie press, press the individual cheese straws onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 until straws are hard.
    If cheese straws spread out too much when cooked, add a little more flour for a firmer dough.
