Calico Beans

Brown Ground beef with onion till it is cooked and no longer pink - Drain.
Mix all ingredients together and cook in Crook pot/Slow cooker on high for 5 1/2 - 6 hours - stir every 1/2 hour.
Or you can bake at 350 degrees in oven for 2-3 hours - stir every 1/2 hour.
( If you can not find Lima Beans in a can - use Frozen).

Brown bacon and crumble. Add onion and saute.
Drain bacon grease.
Add vinegar, garlic powder, catsup and brown sugar to bacon mixture.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Drain and add beans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, or heat in crock pot.

Hawaiian Beans

Combine beans, ham and pineapple chunks.
Pour into casserole dish.
Top with pineapple slices and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.

Baked Beans

Brown ground beef, bell pepper and chopped onions in skillet over medium heat until cooked.
Drain grease and leave in skillet. Add beans and remaining ingredients and cook until hot.
Serves 6.

Lemony Garlic Beans (Microwave)

String & cut beans into 2.5cm lengths. Place into a shallow dish with stock, cover & cook on high for 8 minutes or until beans are tender; drain & reserve stock.
Place butter, onion & garlic in a separet dish, cook on high for 4 mins or until onion is tender.
Stir in flour, then lemon juice and reserved stock, cook on high for 3 mins or until mixture boils & thickens, stirring once.
Combine beans with hot sauce, reheating for approx 2 mins if necessary.

Tilapia With Douchi (Black Fermented Beans) Recipe

Marinade douchi with millet wine for about 10 minutes.
Cut ginger into thin strips.
Put small amount of water into the pot, let it boil.
Put fish heat resistant bowl or plate, add beans and cover with ginger.
Place into the pot, steam for 20-30 minutes.

Saute the green pepper and onions in a little bacon grease before adding all ingredients to a crock pot.
Cook for 6 to 8 hours on low.
Note: Crock pots cook differently; I usually cook for less time than recipe calls for.

Brown pork sausage and remove from pan. When cooled, break into smaller bits.
Brown bacon and remove from pan.
Saute onion and green pepper in bacon grease and remove from pan.
Mix all ingredients into a large baking dish and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour, or simmer on stove top in large pot for 30 minutes if you don't have time to do them in the oven.
This is a rather spicy recipe due to the chipotle/cayenne powder. Feel free to leave it out if you'll be feeding those who prefer a less spicy taste.

In a large skillet, saute green pepper, onion and garlic in oil for 3 minutes.
Stir in broth and cumin.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add black beans, pinto beans, tomatoes, corn and vinegar.
Heat thoroughly.
Serve over rice.
Delicious with grilled chicken.

Salad Luncheon Beans

Do not drain any beans; mix together.
Brown beef and onion; drain.
In a 2-quart baking dish, mix together with all beans and beef, catsup, mustard, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
Bake on low heat for 5 to 6 hours.

Crystal'S Baked Beans(Old Fashioned Taste With A Quick Prepared Head Start.)

Heat frypan.
Fry bacon and onion together until crisp.
Drain. Add both beans to an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
Fold in all the remaining ingredients.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
If having a large group over, double the recipe and use a 9 x 13-inch size pan.

Bush'S® Baked Avocado Stuffed With Sriracha Beans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut avocados in half, remove pit. Scoop out small portion of each avocado with teaspoon.
Fill each avocado half with 1 to 2 tablespoons of BUSH'S(R) Sriracha Beans; top with 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese.
Place avocados on baking sheet; bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serve immediately. Garnish avocados with Mexican crema or sour cream, if desired.

Betty'S Baked Beans

Cook bacon until crisp; drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet.
Crumble bacon.
Cook onion in reserved drippings until tender (low heat) and stir.
Add with bacon to remaining ingredients; mix well.
Top with additional bacon, if desired.
Bake uncovered in 1 1/2-quart casserole in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
(I use the slow cooker; double the recipe and it works out great.)
