Peel and slice mango. Combine with spinach and orange juice in VitaMix blender on high for 1 minute. Enjoy your \"green drink!\".
NOTES: For a thick smoothie, use 1/4 cup orange juice. To thin, just add a little more to get the consistency you like. Also, you do need to use a ripe mango. A not-quite-ripe firm one will not yield a very smooth smoothie!
Place all the ingredients in the Vitamix container in order listed and secure the lid.
Run machine on variable speed #1, quickly increase to #10, then switch to high.
Allow machine to run 20-30 seconds or until smooth.
Top with whipped cream and a dust of cinnamon if desired.
Blend all ingredients well. If you have a very powerful blender, such as the Vitamix, you can simply blend for one minute. If you have a standard blender, blend for one minute, stop, push any stray spinach down into the smoothie mixture, then blend for another 2 minutes, or until smooth.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
In a 2 cup measuring cup, pack kale. Add splash of lemon juice, berries, ginger, almonds. Fill cup with water. Blend in Vitamix at high speed.
Add banana and blend at medium speed.
Chop up everything into chunks. Put carrots and celery into quality blender (I have an old circa 1964 Vitamix) first.
Add rest of ingredients.
Blend until thick and smooth. Use tamper to make sure there are no lumps.
Serve immediately. If you're saving a serving, put it in freezer and remove from freezer the next day half an hour before you want to drink it.
Blend bananas, rice milk, yoghurt and honey until all are well mixed. Add the spinach and mint leaves and blend until smooth. Adjust with more or less rice milk depending on how thick you would like the smoothie to be.
Decorate with a few extra mint leaves on top and break a pecan nut into small pieces, sprinkling it over for added flavour!
Enjoy this healthy treat!
