Layer a loaf of french toast bread or texas toast bread on top of pecan mixture. Beat together eggs, milk, and vanilla and pour evenly over bread. Refrigerate overnight and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Flip over on large platter and serve warm with warm syrup, fresh strawberries, and cool whip.

Using your pop-up toaster, toast the slice of bread until it starts to brown.
Firmly grasp the garlic clove, and rub it across the toasted bread.

Preheat skillet
In a casserole dish, layer 4 slices of toast on bottom (if you need to, cut toast to fit, I used a smaller dish). Layer chicken on top of toast.
Mix soup, chesse, salt and pepper in a bowl. Layer on top of chicken. Place remaining toast on cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes or til browned and bubbly.
Mix the cinnamon and sugar together in a small bowl or measuring cup.
Toast bread till brown (in toaster).
Butter while hot.
Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture over toast.
Place trout in a food processor with butter and lemon juice and process to a smooth paste. Season well with pepper.
Toast bread, spread with trout butter and cut into 1 inch-wide fingers. Sprinkle with chives and set aside.
Half fill a small saucepan with water, adding a good pinch of salt. Bring to simmering point on medium heat and carefully lower in eggs. Boil for 3 mins then lift out and place in egg cups. Serve immediately with smoked trout toast fingers.

Add flour, sugar, salt, milk, and eggs to a mixing bowl.
Whisk until well blended.
In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter; I start with 1 tablespoon and add to it as needed.
Dip both sides of bread slice into egg mixture.
Place 2-3 slices of bread in skillet (depends on how big your skillet is) and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
