Bread Dressing(Stuffing) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf sandwich size bread plus 4 slices, toasted
    4 to 6 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sage (slightly heaping)
    2 1/2 qt. boiling chicken broth plus 1 c.
    2 1/2 c. chopped celery (at the least)
    2 1/2 c. chopped onion (more is even better)
    pepper, to taste
Preparation
    Toast bread and break into small pieces.
    Place in a large pan and add all remaining ingredients.
    Place in a greased roaster. Bake at 350\u00b0 until done, approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    This makes a large amount.
    Ideal for a large get together, otherwise you may 1/2 the recipe.
    Makes more than one roaster.
