Soften margarine and cream with sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time; beat well after each addition.
Add 1 cup flour and baking powder; mix well.

For the Pecans:
Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F, beat the egg whites with salt until foamy.
Add sugar Worcestershire, paprika, and cayenne.
Fold in pecans and melted butter.
Spread pecans over baking sheet.
Bake 30-40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool.
Store pecans in an airtight container.
