Rice can be the long cooking rice or Minute rice in whatever amount you need for the occasion.
Being a working woman, I personally prefer the Minute type.
Either is equally good for this recipe.
Add the desired amount of picante sauce to the hot rice and voile!!

This is sort of 3 recipes in 1, but it's
Brown rice in oil . When rice starts to brown, stir in bell pepper, onion and garlic. Meanwhile in a bowl, put the chicken bouillon, Spanish rice seasoning, cumin seed, garlic powder and pepper. Put water and salt in microwave to boil. Put Ro-Tel and add all spices in boiling water; pour over rice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Coat steaks with flour.
In skillet, brown steaks in oil. Transfer to lightly greased 9-inch square baking dish.
Season with salt and pepper; set aside.
Saute onion slices; add Spanish rice and sugar and mix well.
Spoon rice mixture over steaks; sprinkle with parsley flakes.
Boil hen until tender; remove skin and bones.
Cut in bite-size pieces.
Return to 2 cups of broth for each cup of yellow Spanish rice used.
Boil until rice is tender; stir in garden peas and pimento.
Make Spanish rice according to directions, except use stewed tomatoes in place of tomato sauce and add meat.
When cooking is finished, top with grated cheese.
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Cook and stir sausage, green bell pepper, and onion in the hot oil, breaking the sausage into small pieces, until sausage is browned, about 10 minutes.
Stir diced tomatoes with green chilies, beef broth, water, tomato soup, and Spanish rice mix into sausage mixture; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until rice is tender, 20 to 25 minutes. Combine water, Spanish rice mix, and vegetable oil in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until rice is tender, about 7 minutes.

Cook Spanish rice according to package directions, but before covering with a lid, add peppers, spice, and chilies.
Brown ground beef and drain.
Mix with Spanish rice in large bowl and add minced onions.
Put in 9 x 9-inch casserole dish and top with Cheddar cheese.
If you don't have time to grate cheese, just slice and put on top.
Cook at 425\u00b0 in preheated oven until cheese is real bubbly, about 30 minutes.
Serve with barbecue, bread and pickles.
Combine the above ingredients in a large casserole dish. Place the Spanish rice on the bottom of the dish, then place the Ranch Style beans on top.
Next, spoon the ground beef over the beans, ending with the grated cheese.

Drain fat.
In same skillet, add can of Spanish rice and tomato sauce or Ro-Tel.
Simmer in skillet on low for about 15 minutes.

Add water, salt, tomato sauce, Spanish rice and kidney beans.
Cook on low for 30 minutes and serve.
Cut round steak into small cubes (I make mine 1/2 inch or less).
In dutch oven, cook beef and garlic in butter over medium heat until no longer pink.
Lightly process can of tomatoes in food processor until chunks are smaller and the consistency is a little more saucy without being completely tomato sauce.
Add tomatoes, water, bouillon cubes, and entire contents of Spanish Rice mix to meat and garlic in dutch oven.
Cover tightly and simmer over low heat 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Prepare Spanish rice as directed on package.
Brown ground meat with chopped onion and pepper.
Add to cooked Spanish rice and simmer about 10 minutes more.

Brown meat in heavy skillet.
Add salt when done.
Add Spanish rice and simmer about 15 minutes, covered.
