Kentucky Bourbon Balls

Place the nuts in a sealable jar. Pour the bourbon over the nuts. Seal and allow to soak overnight.
Mix the butter and sugar; fold in the soaked nuts. Form into 3/4\" balls and refrigerate overnight.
Line a tray with waxed paper. Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler over just-barely simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching. Roll the balls in the melted chocolate to coat; arrange on the prepared tray. Store in refrigerator until serving.

Kentucky Bourbon Balls

Mix vanilla wafers, corn syrup, cocoa powder, 4 cups powdered sugar, 4 cups pecans, and bourbon. Refrigerate at least 12 hours.
Shape into balls. Pulverize remaining 3/4 cup pecans and sift in remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Mix together and roll bourbon balls in mixture.

Colonel Sanders' Kentucky Bourbon Buttermilk Pie

Beat 4 eggs and 3/4 cup sugar together until light and lemon colored.
Add 2 tablespoons flour and beat some more.
Mix the butter, vanilla, bourbon and the buttermilk, then add it to the egg mixture.
Pour into baked, but not browned, pie shell.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes (over baking makes it tough).

Mix together dry ingredients, reserving 1/2 c. of confectioners sugar. In a separate bowl, blend bourbon and corn syrup. Combine wet and dry liquids until well blended. Cover and chill for 2 hours.
Spread remaining 1/2 c. of sugar into cookie sheet. Shape dough into balls and roll in sugar. Store in airtight container.

In the mixing bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter to soften, then gradually and thoroughly beat in the sugar and salt. Very slowly, so the mixture doesn't curdle, beat in the bourbon in a steady stream. Beat in the minced pecans and mix well. Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours until firm.

In a large mixer bowl, beat margarine, vanilla and salt until fluffy.

Combine the cake crumbs or cookie crumbs, sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa, corn syrup & Bourbon.
Blend and mix very well.

If mixture is not rolling together easily, add more corn syrup.
Roll the balls in the cocoa powder or the powdered sugar to coat them.

Combine all ingredients except bourbon in a sauce pan and simmer on stovetop for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Take off heat and add bourbon.
Sauce can be thinned with water and used to marinate meat before barbecuing.

Mix until smooth.
In double boiler, mix in semi-sweet chocolate pieces and paraffin until melted.
Roll candy mixture into ball (put a pecan in the center); dip ball in chocolate mixture.
Place another pecan atop the chocolate ball.
Let dry on waxed paper. Refrigerate.

Kentucky Bourbon Marinade

In a glass or ceramic bowl, stir together the bourbon, pineapple juice concentrate, soy sauce, cider vinegar, water, garlic, ginger, and hot pepper sauce. Add desired meat to dish and turn to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator before grilling as desired. Discard marinade after using.
