Kentucky Bourbon Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. (1 stick) sweet butter
1 lb. box confectioners sugar
pinch of salt
1/2 c. bourbon (I use Canadian Club whiskey)
1/2 c. pecans, finely chopped
sweetened cocoa or melted chocolate (for dipping)
Preparation

In the mixing bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter to soften, then gradually and thoroughly beat in the sugar and salt. Very slowly, so the mixture doesn't curdle, beat in the bourbon in a steady stream. Beat in the minced pecans and mix well. Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours until firm.
